Maple Cashew Bars Recipe:


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Detroit Gourmet Nut Company Maple Cashews

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a food processor, blend the maple cashews until they are finely chopped.

  3. In a mixing bowl, stir together the chopped maple cashews, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt until everything is well combined.

  4. Add the rolled oats, almond flour, and shredded coconut to the mixing bowl, and stir until everything is well combined.

  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, and use your hands or a spatula to press it down evenly into the dish.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes.

  8. Cut the bars into squares, and enjoy!
